Hey everyone.. Katie here with your final Blog from the Kerrang! Tour. It's now Saturday - and last night was the last day of the Kerrang! Tour.
As I am sure you will read all over message boards, it was a pretty explosive final show. All the bands playing really well.. some unexpected activities on stage (more on that to follow I am sure).. but, all in all, a great night.
It was pretty sad saying goodbye to all my new friends - the lovely Circa lads especially of course. Coheed were so polite and sweet, Madina were the friendliest lads alive, and I truly think in Fightstar I have found some London buddies for life. ;)
It has been a truly amazing (near) 3 weeks.. and I have had THE BEST time ever.
Thank to everyone for reading.. and for coming up and saying Hello at all the shows. I really appreciate it.. and I am glad that so many of you had such a great time at all of the dates around the UK and Ireland.
I know that all the bands involved want me to pass on a massive THANK YOU to everyone that came out, sung along, bought a shirt, waved or grinned. With pretty much allllll the dates sold-out - it was a packed and fun-filled tour.

Can i just say that i was dissapointed with the tour, Coheeds set was far too short 50 mins is a complete outrage. I was at the Islington gig in September and it was fucking mindblowing (and probably deserved 5 Ks), when i saw them in Southampton they seemed to not give it there all. This is a shame as the new album kicks major ass. I was also completely un-impressed with the 3 other bands regardless of the hype that built up about them before hand. There boring and in some parts down right irritating noise-pollution put me off a bit.
Though the tour was probably better for those who liked the first bands so horay for them.
O well Velvet Revolver soon that will cheer me up :)

yeah Coheeds set was far far far too short. madina lake didnt deserve to share a stage with them.. especially in light of their behavior. i don't know all the details but i'm choosing to be narrow minded and hate madina lake. We all know it boils down to the quality of the music at the end of the day, and Coheed just blow any other band away.
thanks alot for putting Circa Survive on the bill too! they gained a new fan in me after the night in bristol =) totaly epic!
fightstar surprised me aswell.. not a bad live band at all!!
